UV Transilluminator

Ultrassay® UV transilluminator is used in molecular biology laboratories to view DNA or RNA that has been separated by electrophoresis through an agarose gel. Exposing the stained gel to a UV light source causes the DNA to fluoresce and become visible. These instruments are useful for viewing samples to size a PCR product, purify DNA segments after a restriction enzyme digest, quantify DNA, or verify RNA integrity after extraction.

Features
  • UV glue: Special UV filter glass, good permeability, high sensitivity enhance the ability to capture weak band signals;
  • Precise sealing structure: Effectively reduce gel contamination and internal damage caused by leakage, standard 302mm UV wavelength lamp;
  • UV light tube: Reasonable structure design, strong and uniform ultraviolet rays, excellent fluorescence effect;
  • Power Switch: Using high-quality switching power supply, stable and reliable long-term operation;
  • Protection Cover: Can be freely adjusted and positiooned within 0~180C to ensure optimal UV protection;
  • Cooling Fans: Comes with fan cooling device to prolong the service life of the machine.
