Mycobacterium Tuberculosis (MTB) Detection Kit (Real-time PCR)

[REF] UBP-R00150H

[Research Use Only]

ultrassay MTB detection kit is suitable for qualitative detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis DNA in human sputum samples and tissue samples and for auxiliary detection of mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. The test results are for research only, and the final conclusion should be considered in conjunction with other indicators.

[Test Principles]
This kit combines PCR amplification with a fluorescent probe, selects the specific conserved region of Mycobacterium tuberculosis IS6110 and 38KD antigen sequence as the detection target gene region, and designs the specific primer probe for fluorescence detection. The specific probe 5′ is labeled as FAM (IS6110 and 38KD) and VIC (HEX) (internal reference gene) fluophore, and the 3′ quenched group is BHQ1. In the process of PCR amplification, specific primers and probes are combined with their respective target sequences. In the process of amplification, the formation of PCR products and the accumulation of fluorescence signals are completely synchronized by Taq enzyme DNA polymerase activity and 5 ‘-3’ exonuclides activity, and qualitative detection of sample DNA is realized by a reaction solution.

[Advantage]

  • Specific: No cross-reaction with human genome or other nontuberculous mycobacteria and pneumonia pathogens.
  • Sensitivity: The minimum limit is 10 bacteria/ml
  • Reliability: Internal reference and blank control, positive control of the whole process quality control.
